The physician would work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacology, psychology, pediatric neurology, pediatric radiology and pediatric neurosurgery. The goal is to become a leading best practice model that is research based, data driven and led by experts.
The Walt Disney Pavilion at Florida Hospital for Children is part of a network of 22 hospitals across the state of Florida. We are a non-profit,
faith-based organization owned and operated by the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Florida Hospital is the largest healthcare system in the state and our children's hospital is the only one in the system. It is is fed from the network by 13,000 deliveries a year as part of a growing OB and high risk delivery program.
Florida Hospital for Children announced a partnership with Walt Disney World in 2007 and recently completed a renovation and expansion of the hospital that brings the facility to a total of approximately 200 beds. Practice is located on the campus of the Walt Disney Pavilion near other pediatric subspecialists. Our Children's Hospital completed an expansion and renovation bringing the total bed size to over 200.
