A fantastic opportunity for Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians!

Florida Emergency Physicians (FEP) is searching for a Peds EM Fellowship or EM/Peds EM Fellowship-trained physician to work within our brand new Children's Emergency Medical Department. Florida Hospital for Children's Emergency Room is a brand new, nine bed unit with state-of-the-art equipment, lighting and interactive Phillips technology. You would have the benefit of helping to develop a program with the support of our Children's Hospital physicians covering over 30 subspecialties. The unit also has plans to expand in the upcoming years with increased growth as our volumes are continuing to rise. The Florida Hospital for Children is also going through an expansion and renovation with a formal association with Walt Disney World.

Florida Hospital Orlando has opened a new adult ED with over 50 beds just adjacent to the new Peds ED. FEP and Florida Hospital are also proud to announce our Emergency Medicine Residency Program which began in July 2008. There is the chance for the peds EM physician to work with our academic affiliation with the new University of Central Florida College of Medicine (first classes started in 2009). FEP is also open to the idea of any potential clinical research interest and supportive of an interest in publishing as well.

This opportunity would allow a pediatric emergency physician to work with a dedicated team of physicians and pediatric subspecialists to focus care in our brand new Peds ED.
